Challenges & Solutions
1 CHALLENGE ONE
Initial Project Design
OUR SOLUTION
As a team we provided the client with a ‘project analysis template’ and had many meetings to update the design and adding missing information. Based on our shared findings prepped a plan to save the client unnecessary management fee costs. We also appointed one of our coordinators to review and expedite communications and work directly with the construction manager to align scope of work, and drawings.
2 CHALLENGE TWO
Scope-Gaps & Time Delays
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with the client’s designers to update design elements to expedite submissions and eliminate scope gap and time delays with the sub trades.
3 CHALLENGE THREE
Sub-Trade Consensus
OUR SOLUTION
We initiated site meetings and gathered sub-trade input for their specific scope and tasks, then we collaborated on a schedule for the entire construction sub-trade team to follow. We followed up with weekly meetings and round table discussions with leaders from each sub-trade with the goal of addressing concerns and issues in real-time. By tabling various topics and planning ahead with open communication, we got things back on track.
“Carnahan Construction quotes are incredibly transparent - granular level details and pricing. They offered us options to reflect different costing and turnaround times - and let us choose the best path forward.”
“Jason and the team identified each speedbump as it came into view. Providing us with not just one solution, but a detailed list of options and recommendations. ”
“On time, on budget was amazing - but it never would have happened without the upfront work CPM puts into understanding and questioning aspects of the build.”
“Their focus on analyzing the project first really opened our eyes. Without a doubt, things would have been missed without their honesty them and commitment to details.”
