Challenges & Solutions

1 CHALLENGE ONE

Earn Trust as GC in Atlantic Canada / New Client in Ontario

OUR SOLUTION

We provided an unusual guarantee to a new client from Ontario because we wanted build a long lasting relationship and prove our worth as partners. As part of our strategic investment we made the decision to not ‘change order’ the client, and committed to working within our lump sum.

2 CHALLENGE TWO

Short Timeline Expectations

OUR SOLUTION

Restaurants in general have expedited timelines once they commit to a project. Our experience in this industry allowed us to propose a more efficient schedule and handover than they were asking. We used our in-house method of selecting our ‘pit crew oriented’ sub-trades professionals who are always on standby for our special projects. In this case it wasn’t about the price - it was more about how these select trades people excelled in condensed site environments, and hours of service they could perform.

3 CHALLENGE THREE

Covid 19 Constraints

OUR SOLUTION

Covid 19 delayed the initial start-up of the project, and it redefined site safety policies in a real-time environment. Our “whatever it takes” philosophy immediately opened the lines of communication to the point where we were able to expedite the adoption of our ever changing safety protocols. We implemented these safe work solutions, and brought the project across the finish line on time, and with no added cost to the client.
